customers and friends who stop by the shop during the holiday season.
These are two of our favorites.... The very talented John Beland, guitarist who has played with many of the greats..(To many to name) and Pauline Wilbraham, a Brit expat who lives in a charming country house in nearby Chappell Hill.
A little blurry, sorry, but a pixie fairie in a black Juliska compote.
Her feet are wrapped like ballet shoes.
One of the shop's display tables featuring Tea Forte...
Another table with OUR signature sheep. We have sold these since we opened and they have graced may a holiday buffet table in these parts!
Very Christmasy...
Hi MaryAnne! We had our Christmas festivities in Fredericksburg this past weekend, too, and Friday night was freezing! It was our Christmas parade and Christmas market at the park and it was so, so cold! I do love living in a small town this time of year, though - the charm and enthusiasm are contagious. Happy holidays! Ann
ReplyDeleteGreetings Mary Anne!
ReplyDeleteToday it's chilly and dark here in Carmel, but your festive post has brightened the day. I just love the shocking red and green colors of the Bloem boxes.
Wishing you a happy and successful holiday season in your shop,
Marjorie
Mary Anne,
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so beautiful! I wish I lived closer so I could pop in and see it in person!
Have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteHowdy, Maryanne...so wish I could just drop in. Love the windows and all the red. White couch and red ball pillows remind me of the "Snow White and Rose Red" fairy tale. Magical! XO Trish
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see the shop all dressed up for the holidays! So beautiful and charming - I want those hanging pixies - so ethereal! Seeing this really does put me in the festive mood, thanks!
ReplyDeleteChere Maryanne,
ReplyDeleteI'd like to work for you. How absolutely beautiful. What joy you must bring to everyone.
(I have a tiny request -- it has to do with Christmas -- which I would like to ask you "off-the-record". Would you be so kind as to e-mail me at tishjett@yahoo.com? It's about presents. . .)
Warmest regards,
Tishx
I really love how you've decorated the store. It's so festive. You are so creative!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas displays look fabulous! If I lived nearby I would pop in as I am sure they are even better when you see them in person. Ax
ReplyDeleteMary Anne, it all looks divine! Love the Red Pillows, the Sheep, oh, just about every single thing. Merry Christmas! I just finished decorating our own home, and am ready for the party to begin. xo Lidy
ReplyDeleteHello girlie, glad I don't live close, I would spend every pay check at your store! The rose pillows are divine and the fibre balls. And it says God Jul (Merry Christmas in Swedish!) on the stockings! (Give me a star in the book for paying attention to details!). Do you have a better image of them that you can email me?
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend! OX Mon
The shop looks so festive and elegant. I think if I wandered in I would not want to leave. Just beautiful! ~jermaine~
