Round Top: A Touch of Europe's Last Visit

On Saturday La Bahia will open it's doors again for Round Top Antiques week.
It saddens me today THIS will be the last visit for A Touch of Europe here at Round Top.  Not bad news you will be able to buy online but some other additional  business opportunities
so they won't be able to make the semi annual trip.

Mimi and Peter will be bringing a huge shipment of the most fabulous vintage linens scoured from France, Belgium, Eastern Europe........ And they are gorgeous....

Nightwear.....

Lots of Embroidered Sheets, great prices!

Look at this, gorgeous no??????

Oh and did I mention Quilts, and bolster covers....?

This is cute,,a vintage shirt made into a pillow cover.........

Tablecloths, napkins runners........

Tons.

And a HUGE selection of pillow shams........

And unique things like this  a French Bread Bag Embroidered with

What Else???????? It now resides in my kitchen.
So Stop in and see them on Hwy 237 La Bahia antiques fair Opening Sat. Before or After you visit come see us at Beadboard UpCountry!!!!!!!!!! Arte Pura and vintage linens look great together!

  1. So, so beautiful, Maryanne. I have just reread my embroidery manual and plan to embroider for my family, but I don't think I could possibly sew anything this lovely. There is just something about hand sewn linens.
    Thank you for sharing.

  6. Thanks Maryanne! We will certainly miss coming to Round Top but the rest of our business is just growing too fast for us to keep up - we ship hundreds of linens every day from the site and it's getting hard to keep up! The people and the area will be the hardest for us to leave behind, I sure hope I can come down and shop for our brick and mortar store in the future! Mimi

  9. Ooh, I love the embroidered linens! I especially love the raised/padded satin stitched monograms on the white-on-white bed linens, and the bread bag cracked me up. Of course I wasn't in French mode when I first glanced at the photo, and I'm thinking it's some kind of flower-princess-dominatrix thing. Which makes it so PERFECT for your kitchen, n'est ce pas? ;-)
